First post!

We are a family of 4 travelling from the UK for Halloween week, can anyone that's been to DLP during that time let us know what special entertainment is laid on?

Hi and welcome to the boards,

DLP has Halloween parties on 25th and 31st /oct at £18 pp starting at 8pm .Guest are encouraged to dress up.

Apart from these parties between 1st Oct and 2nd Nov the villains take over the parade and main st becomes spooky st and frontierland becomes halloweenland.

Hi there!!

We were at DLP just before halloween last year and i was surprised how big a deal they made of it. We were not able to go to the halloween party but there was still much different to see.

Extras included
Spooky face and hair makeovers!
Spooky storytime in Frontierland.
Extra Halloween parade in the mornings. Pretty good, especially fave characters dressed as ghosts.
Characters in halloween costumes stalking Halloweenland (frontierland)
Cool Decorations in Main street USA and Frontierland.

www.dlp-guidebook.de has some info on the plans for this year i think.

We were there the weekend before hallowen and it was not too crowded, but still decent weather.

Have fun!

Hedgehog.

Some news about Halloween from http://www.dlp-guidebook.de/NewsAndRumours/Rumours.shtml

...and goodbye of another for the most "ghostful" Halloween Festival ever. In Halloweenland guests can look forward to the return of the popular Mummy Cruise Line on the Rivers of the Far West that had been shelved in favor of an outdoor makeover of Phantom Manor last year. On the other hand with the addition of the Spooky Street makeover of the Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland, that had been added partially to the festival's area last year, is no longer mentioned. But this is not the favorite mentioned above to go ... as it seems that the Villain Invasion is history now! Instead of the special Halloween-parade with its catchy theme song "Halloween, Halloween" being performed in addition to the main parade plans are now to have the Disney Villains led by Captain Hook, Cruella de Ville, Malefiz and Jafar interrupt the Princess Parade with the help of dark creatures transforming it into their very own celebration thanks to a Halloween-makeover of that parade, similar to the concept of Mickey’s Nutcracker Parade.
