Halloween??

I know this has probably been asked before, but the search isn't working for me tonight.

When are halloween decorations generally up by? And is the Halloween party deal in DCA going on the whole time or only the week of halloween or just certain days?

I don't think dates are out for this year, but last year's dates for Mickey's Halloween Treat were:
October 4, 5, 11, 12 17, 19, 25, 26, 29, 30, 31

And I read that the decorations last year were up from Sept. 21 thru Oct. 31.


I love Halloween and cannot wait to go back and see the decorations again! They were great.

Usually they start the last weekend in September..

Then DCA has the Halloween party and decorations over there. Then the Characters dress up in their costumes. It is pretty cool.

I went last year at halloween and it was awsome! All the charecters are dressed up! And i went to the trick or treat with my kids aswell and it was great! I will go back for sure if i'm there around halloween!!! (I live in canada) I really loved how everything was done up in pumpkins! I only wish they had a halloween parade like they do in japan that would be awsome! But if you are going make sure you go to the mickeys treat, espeacially if you got little ones! The whole family gets to dress up not just the kids, and its a good chance to get pics with not as long of lines to the charecters! Atleast the night we went wasn't that busy but we did go the 1st night! But like i said it was GREAT!

I'm looking forward to it! I might have to change my dates around a little bit, I guess, or schedule another trip lol.

The first year it was the LAST Friday of Sept. Last year it was the 3rd Friday, 21st. My guess is it will be Sept 19th Friday. They pushed it up last year and it seemed to work. HMH opened that day.

The Candy Corn look stays until later in the season when they switch to the candy cane for Christmas.
