Halloween with 7 year old

Please help. DH and will be staying on site on Halloween with DD(7). We will not be attending the HHN. No way. Just reading about the event scared me. What do you recommend for that evening? We will be spending the day in one of the parks.

Go to a movie. See what the Hard Rock Hotel has going...

Just avoid the park, you don't want her scared.

If your daughter still wants to go trick or treating you could take her to the Florida Mall. They're having trick or treating from 6PM to 8PM.

If you want to do "real" trick or treating and will have a car, drive over here to Celebration. Tons of people descend on Celebration, even by the busload! Most people do it downtown, but I recommend going to one of the farther-back neighborhoods. There is also a free event for kids in the North Village section of town and the Presbyterian church downtown has a pumpkin patch.
