We are thinking about a last second trip down on Halloween week. Not sure we can get tickets or that I want to do MNSSHP. We have done it before. We are going because the kids have 5 days off in a row. I want my kids to trick or treat, if we don't do MNSSHP, where else can you trick or treat? Should we do Universal? My DS 7 is a whimp and I've heard that is more intense then MNSSHP. Give me all your suggestions for Halloween.

I don't know about trick or treating, but I wouldn't take kids to Universal's HHN. Too intense for kids and too much partying going on.

I haven't seen anything official this year but I'd say more than likely there will be Trick or Treating at DTD,there has been for years now!

Several times we've actually done MNSSHP a day or so before Oct. 31 and gone to the Marketplace on Halloween Night to Trick or Treat. We love Halloween and like to spread it out and make it last!

HHN at Universal is desiged to scare ADULTS! They recommend you don't bring kids, and there's no way I'd take mine!

MNSSHP is the other end of the spectrum and great for kids.

FT. Wilderness has the Haunted Hayrides running that week. Here's some info from the camping board:

Also, many of the campers have Halloween decorations up throughout the Ft., and some will probaby be handing out candy.

We'll be down there that week, and we've got decorations for the RV, and we're preprared with candy. The wooded environment is perfect for Halloween!
