Halloween- what it was last year... what do you want it to be?

Here's our beloved halloween decorations. I took these photos the end of november, thinking surely they would change things soon, so excuse the rotting pumpkins.

I had this great idea for a rare pin too, but guess they didn't like it.

I can honestly say that hopefully the events will go much smoother than last year's disappointments.

A trick or treat thing might be great.
They might do a costume contest again.
I can see a quest done as a scavenger hunt type thing.

Ok.. lets see if this old brain can remember. I think it was a random thing over a weekend. Someone else help me out here, but didn't staff just show up randomly in public guest rooms and judge costumes on the spot?

Staff were in Castle Forecourt. All rooms were full and backed up. The unlucky people that didn't get in right away (me) had to wait behind a 200 person line that never moved and finally gave up. That's all I remember...

Thanks for posting the pics! I'm surprised how many decorations they had. I can't wait, Halloween is my favorite holiday. I will just be happy with any Halloween themed items that come out. And costumes!

Also (off topic but I can't contain myself) Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D coming out October 20th! YAY!

the closest i got to the room was 20 ppl away... @_@. that's what i mostly did when i was new ( that and play jungle cruise for credits -_- which got me nowhere! )

Oh I absolutely loved the Castle Forecourt Last Halloween.. in VMK I had a pic of that huge skeleton behind the Storybookland and it read "There's a new Princess in the Kingdom" my friends and I were cracking up every time we read it

I really hope that this year after halloween that VMK decorates for the Christmas/Hanukkah/Festivus/Quanza!

My favorite part of Halloween last year was Moussedude's thread about there being only 29 Trick or Treating days until Christmas. Then he went to a staff room and said, "Trick or Treat?" and they gave him something! I hope I'm giving credit to the right person.

I love the idea of the rotting pumpkin pin!

I tried to rally some people to help me virtually toilet paper and egg Main Street with the hope of them finally removing the decorations.
