Hi all,
We typically go on a Girls Trip every fall to WDW and have decided to branch out... we'll be heading to DLR this year and we're VERY excited! We're staying at the Disneyland Hotel for about a week near the end of October, so we can have time to do a few other things and take our time at Disney. I have a few questions for the pros:
Does the Halloween Treat ticket cover both parks or do you have to buy a Halloween ticket for each park?
Has anyone been to the Knotts Scary Farm party? Is it worth it? What is it like?
If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to chime in, thanks!

Halloween Treat is only during the evening on selected dates in October. Its a separate ticketed event at DCA. You have to have a separate ticket for DL and DCA during the normal operating hours. Is mainly a trick or treat type of thing for the kids. I think its fun but it can get busy.

As for Knott's Scary Farm, I love it but then again I like that blood and gore type of thing. I haven't been for a while though because I have young kids and have switched to the kid halloween thing. If you don't mind being scared or chased at and like to live a nightmare for a night, then Knotts Scary Farm is worth it. The only downside is that if you are a 30 something like me, there are A LOT of teenagers and young college students there. Some nights are less crowded than others (Thurs and Sun) and its also a separate ticketed event. As for the event, there are themed mazes throughout the park and some rides. They have "monsters" (people dressed up in gory costumes) that scare you by jumping out in front of you, hover over you, etc...you get what I mean. I worked Haunt a couple of years as well a long time ago during college so if you have questions, I can answer them for you. My friend also had a website dedicated to it...if I find it, I'll send it to you so you get an idea of what it actually is like. Its been around for about 30 years.

Scooter15, that was AWESOME! Thank you so much, those pics made me LAUGH... i think we'll have to go - even though we are also 30-somethings.
We've been attending Horror Nights at Universal Orlando each year and it looks like something similar. I get scared to death and my best friend laughs at me all night long... thank you again, that link was fantastic!

If you like the Universal event you will really like the Knott's event, it is the original one! I have never been but swear every year I will go hahah!

Scooter I wonder if you know a friend of mine she has been working haunt for years and years. Like many who do haunt I know her from the Renaissance faire.

Oh yeah Universal...I remember when they had their first one and we were a group from Knott's that went to check it out. We weren't too worried. LOL

Anyway, I worked there for 5 years from 1994-1999. I knew a bunch of people there but its been a long time. Where did she work? PM me.
