My 4 year old decided she wants to be a witch for halloween. She picked out her costume from a Simplicity catalog. We went to the store to buy the pattern the other day. She was so excited. When we got home she pulled the pattern package out of the bag and was extremely upset and confused when all she pulled out was a wad of tissue paper!
Now she is standing here glaring at me waiting for me to start sewing instead of surfing the boards! I have chosen to sew my daughter's costumes instead of buying them as it was what my mom did for me when I was a kid. I loved the costumes she sewed because they were like no others! I want to pass this on to my daughter.
So two questions come to mind.....any one else have a tradition they have handed down? And......who is sewing this Halloween?
