I apologize if this has already been answered (I searched, but couldn't find anything).

Does anyone know anyhting about DL's new Halloweentime? Ive checked the official website and allears, but....
Are adults allowed to wear costumes to?
Are adults allowed to wear "Disney" costumes? (as long as we don't pose as the characters/sign autographs/etc...)
Is it similar to MNSSHP?
TIA!

No to any costume unless you are going to Mickey's Halloween Treat at DCA. But no costumes at Disneyland. Basically it is all decorated from the 29th of Sept. through the 31st of Oct. Special things, like some characters dressed up and special food. I think disney.com has all the info.

"Disney's HalloweenTime" is the new resort-wide holiday celebration, which includes characters in Halloween costumes, special Halloween decorations, shows, and even menu items at both parks.

Mickey's Halloween Treat is the Halloween party that is being held on 8 different nights at Disney's California Adventure, and it requires a separate ticket for entry. Adults are allowed to wear costumes to the party ONLY, otherwise only children under the age of 10 may wear costumes inside either of the parks.

It's not much like MNSSHP - there's no special parade or fireworks. But there's lots of trick or treat stops and character photo ops, and the park is nicely decorated - we had a good time last year and are going again this year.

So are they going to let a dd 11 into dl after the party in her costume (cinderella)

That would be a no. Only children 9 and under may where costumes inside DL.

Ok thanks guys...I'm still just a little confused...
If Halloween time is a resort-wide event, I'm assuming it encompases more than just DL...
So why does the official site list Halloween Time tickets $25, wouldn't that make it a hard ticket event?

Mickey's Halloween Treat at DCA is the hard ticket event, not the rest of the festivities.
