Halloween Screams and WOC

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone here has managed to watch World of Color and Halloween Screams the same evening.

My family and I have 2 full days dedicated to the park. We have 2 day park hoppers and OBB tickets. We arrive in Anaheim on a Monday and depart on Thursday. Yes, one of our park hopping days is the same day as OBB, but our biggest priority for this trip (besides OBB) is riding Haunted Mansion Holiday as many times as possible. That being said, we only have Wednesday to see World of Color and Halloween Screams. Is it possible?

Thanks in advance:)

We watched 1st WOC last Saturday night then went to DL to ride BTMRR. We weren't moving particularly fast and Halloween Screams started a little before we entered DL. Main St was completely packed--no room to stop and enjoy the show. We ended up walking up to the hub and then across on the kept-open walkways, never stopping, but seeing some of the show while moving. So if you hustle out of DCA, it's possible to catch the show--but it's going to be hard (or maybe downright impossible) to find a place to stand and watch.

Also, on a Wednesday Halloween Screams may be only projections, not fireworks.

HS is projections only during the week (fireworks on Fri. Sat., Sun -- weather permitting), so is there a reason why you couldn't see it on your arrival day? Without fireworks, there shouldn't be a need to camp for a spot. You could view from Main Street or IASW.

Thank you for that info! I’m a brisk walker if I know where I need to be. I’m fine with just projections. I’m not really fond of fireworks.

Thanks for the reply. We’re driving in from Vegas and are not morning people (with the exception of my dad, who is driving us)…so we just wanted to use the remainder of the day to leisurely check in to the hotel and relax before the 2 park days we have planned.

I don’t need to see both…but we were at DCA in January and my family was kind of interested in the reconstruction they were doing. It would be nice to see the result of it. However, my love for Zero will outweigh any interest in WOC.
