we had them last night,someone saran wrapped my dd's car and sprayed shaving cream and syrup allover it.. she had to get up early to go to school to decorate for a big scholorship fundraiser they're having tommorrow and she came back into the house crying someone did something to my car over night! my dh had to get up early ona saturday and go out and help wash off the car with dd -it has to be a someone she knows our house sits about 400 ft from the road and its only us and 1 neighbor on our driveway.. i cant believe i didnt hear anything!

It was still a mess, I'm sure, but at least whoever did it, used the Saran Wrap to protect the finish of her car.

The fact that it was syrup and shaving cream (and not something else super smelly) sounds like it was more like a joke and not meant as an attack.

It was probably just some of her friends messing with her. It could have been worse.

The Captn' of our local hs drill team is not nice. Very few on the team like her. So the last day of school last year some of them put cow dung and ostrich eggs all over her car in the school parking lot. What a smell!!!

I have always told my kids to have fun with pranks but no property damage! And if they get caught and are asked to clean it up, they clean it up. But no property damage.

Syrup would suck!

We had a big Halloween block party last night and a couple of the guys and I had a couple cocktails too many and ended up pranking our neighbor down the street...we replaced his McCain for President sign with an Obama one. Amazingly, he knew exactly who to come to to get it back this morning...

Around here, the only pranks are pumpkin pranks. Once trick or treating is officially over, a group of kids goes around and busts everyones pumpkins on the road.

At first it really annoyed me, but a neighbor once said to me, "What are you going to do with a carved pumpkin that is just rotting after Halloween anyway?"

The group of kids changes every year. It's normally middle schoolers. It's almost like a rite of passage here.

Sometimes there are so many pumpkins on the road that it's like we need someone come and plow it with a snow plow!

It has been a source of entertainment for the bashees as well. There was one family who hide and when the bashers approached their pumpkin, they sprayed them with a pressure washer.

And another couple hid in the bushes just waiting for the bashers to show up. Once they did, the husband jumped out of the bushes and started up his chainsaw (no blade) and scared the bejeezus out of the kids who took of running up the road.
