Hi everyone,
I am just curious if the Halloween party tickets ever sold out with the annual pass holders?

Hi everyone,

https://www.disboards.com/threads/h...halloweentime-starts-sept-9-sold-out.3526615/
This thread has the dates some of the first parties sold out. The first one was the Saturday before Halloween and then after that it was the Friday night parties. It took about 2 weeks after they went on sale to the general public to sell out. The pre-sale is for more than just APs, though.

In this case I am going to refer you to figment_jii's info from 2016, where the sellout dates of the Halloween Party nights were tracked -- https://www.disboards.com/threads/2...-school-breaks-and-dlr.3434866/#post-54158585

You can see how quickly each night sold out, and which one did not sell out.

Normally, I would refer people to my previous Superthreads for that info or other Halloween Time info (and thank you so much, SMD, for doing that -- I appreciate it!:goodvibes). But last year I got busy with things, and stopped tracking after a certain point in the sellouts, mainly because I knew that figment_jii was also tracking the sellouts in the Calendar/School Break thread, and it didn't seem like a good use of time for two people to be tracking the same exact MHP sellout info in two different places!

Okay so it seems like the ones closure to Halloween sell out faster than the ones that are farther out.

My very humble opinion is none of the days will sell out before everyone has the opportunity to purchase them. The price of the tickets are too high. You have heard people on the boards cutting back or eliminating the party from their trip. To me, it feels like a money grab. If Disney reads these boards, cut the ticket prices. Give party goes the option to turn down the 3 hour park hop option for a $35 cut in ticket price. Plus, if you are not handing out full size treats, give three handfuls of treats instead of maximum three individual itsy bitsy treats.

Any chance there are kid priced tickets? Or are kids really the same price as adults?

I'm assuming more tickets will be available this year because both dl and dca are included and anybody without a Halloween ticket can not stay in the parks?

The party itself is still only at Disneyland. The pre-party hours make both parks available to MHP ticket holders 3 hours prior to the party start time.

I don't think the number of tickets is correlated to the addition of being able to park hop. All it means is that during the overlap period (three hours before the start of the party), you'll see MHP guests in both parks. Once the party starts, most of the MHP guests will head over to DL to enjoy the party. Some might stay in DCA for a bit, but I can't really imagine why they'd stay much past the start of the party. Guests without MHP tickets will have to leave DL once the party starts. If DCA is open and if they have park hopper tickets, they can head over to DCA. Guests without MHP tickets already in DCA will be able to stay in DCA until that park closes.
