We just got tickets for the Halloween part on Oct. 24th. We have never been and are soooo excited. I'm imagining that it will be quite crowded during this week. Anyone know if this one usually sells out?
Any other DVCers back home during this time?

We will be there 10/19-10/25. It really is not a crowded time, other than Epcot on the weekend for F&W.

We were there last year the previous week, and it was pretty calm. :)

We will be there Oct 22-Nov 3 and are going to the Halloween Party on Halloween! Last year we went from the Oct 28-Nov 8 and the crowds weren't that bad, very doable. It will definitely be warm and possibly rainy so be prepared for that for the party if you are wearing costumes. Last year we went as scarecrows and were kinda warm, this year we'll be Hawaiian lifeguards.

We have been four times the week right at Halloween. It is a great time to go. The MNSSHP probably will sell out just about that day. However, it is not crowded at all. WE LOVE the party. The last two hours of the party, there is no wait anywhere. We typically will ride the Haunted Mansion then ride Slash Mountain and Thunder Mountain Multiple times.

Enjoy your trip.

We traveled this past Halloween and went to the Halloween Party on Halloween. Considering that we were up at 3AM and the hassles of traveling, I would advise against going to the party on the day you travel. Halloween night was very crowded and we did have a good time, just a tiring day.

Enjoy your party!

Well, too late, we're going to be there this Halloween and we fly down that morning.:scared1: Hoping to relax by the pool for the afternoon, maybe we'll get a nap in if we're lucky- but I doubt it- I'm WAY too excited to sleep when I get there!:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

We found a dalmation outfit on super sale at the disney store (only 14.00). So, our little one will be a dalmation and hubby and I are going as Roger and Anita Dearly! We got our costumes at Goodwill the other day so we're pretty much ready.
We do have dinner planned before the party. Are restaurants ok with us being in costume? We might wait to dress the little one until after dinner, but we'll probably be dressed to save time.
Anyone else go to dinner dressed up?

We where at the World in April and went to the Pirate and Princess Party the day of arival (travel). It was hard and did not enjoy as much as if it where latter in the trip. Try and get as much rest as possible as there is so much fun to be had latter in the evening. Our family has always felt it is so cool to be in the park when it is so empty.:cool1:

I hear ya. The only night with the discount is the day we arrive from a 6:15am flight. We won't be in any shape to do a party that night.
Full price it is:headache:

We'll be there from Sept. 28 - Oct 3. Going to the MNSSHP on the 30th. We haven't been for about 5 years and are really looking forward to it again.
