Hello,
Can anyone tell me if persons with a DAS card have to wait in line for trick or treats. Also, how about spots for Parade and fireworks. Thanks

They do not work for this and the lines move quickly the DAS dose not work for any parade. It is hit or miss for rides I never had a problem getting a return time for 7dmt ( 60 minte wait) but other have have been told no

Also the second parade is less crowded ( I saw it in town square and it was just 1 deep ) also if you are off to the side for the fier works it is less crowded

I did find more people were on the streets then in lines and there were some times it was too crowded.

The Halloween Party last year was the only thing my two ASD kids enjoyed. But let me explain why. We do not do characters and we do not do high crowded areas so that excluded the hub. We did do the TOT areas, over and over and over. They moved fast. We did rides, except 7DMT and HM, because the lines were hardly anything. We did do Magic Shots. It was not a sold out night. It was a Sunday night and crowded though. We managed to do the first parade with ease in Frontier Land with front row seats. We got them about 30 mins prior near the wooden posts. It was not overly crowded in this area and we had space here as the posts kept a lot of people from jamming around us.

We were in the park all day so we did not have to go up Main Street to enter and only down it to exit and it was a nightmare. We did not care to be in front of the Castle for the shows or Fireworks. The boys love the 360 view from Fantasy Land the best with them taking off all around you. Least crowded here too.

We came home with so much candy we used it to hand out the next week for Halloween. They loved it best for the rides and liked not having to fool with the messed up MB and DAS drama. Really, we did so much it was wonderful because it fit them.

We've done the Halloween party about the past 10 years. Many of the times, it was sold out that night.

I agree with the others about the treat lines - they move very quickly, so you are not waiting. It's basically get into line and walk very quickly to where the treats are bring handed out, get into next line and repeat.

For attractions, the waits are generally very short. Basically getting in line and walking pretty much as fast as you can to board, so DAS is not used for most because the wait is going to be 20 minutes or less.
The exception I have heard is the 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, which does tend to have long waits even during the party.
If you want to ride something that has a posted wait of over 20 minutes, it doesn't hurt to ask. But, the times we've been, even Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Railroad have not had long waits.
The shortest waits will be during the parades and later in the evening.

As the others mentioned, the second parade is less crowded. The handicapped viewing areas are generally VERY crowded for the parades - both parades. They do line wheelchairs/mobility devices across the front of the area and the rest of the party kind of smooshes in behind.
I agree with the other posters that you would do better to avoid them and pick somewhere to watch from. The castle and Main Street area tend to be busiest, so avoid them if possible.
