Halloween Party - extra ticket

I have 1 extra hard ticket for the Halloween Party on 9/15 - my nephew isn't able to go. I haven't linked it to any magic band. So what can I do with it? Can I get my money back since none of the parties have started or do I just "Pixie Dust" someone?

While that might (and probably will) be true.
I'd like to caution mmouse that "officially" tickets are non-refundable, and the CM could
deny the refund, just due to stated policy.

That's why it can't hurt for mmouse to be a little "delicate" when explaining about why the ticket
is not needed.
It never hurts to "ask nicely" when requesting something out-of-the-ordinary like this.

That can go a long way to making it more conducive for the CM on the phone to offer a
little bit of "Pixie Dust" to help the guest.

I purchased MNSSHP tickets at the end of July and a week later called to explain that we wouldn't be needing the tickets due to a change of plans. CM asked if I needed to rebook and I just explained we couldn't yet choose a substitute date. My tickets were immediately voided and removed from my MDE.

Yes, I first explained our situation and asked if it was possible to have our tickets voided and a refund issued. There was no hesitation on the CM's end.

I posted to explain that I explained the situation first and didn't begin by stating I needed a refund. I simply asked if a refund was possible.

Many DISers last year reported they received refunds when they called Ticketing and explained their plans had changed.
