Yes- there are selected nights for DVC discounts for MNSSHP, don;t know exact days, but in the past they've been weekdays not weekends.

we did the christmas party in dec. it was the anu. pass holder night. it was packed. for the hpl. party my wife said to spend the extra $10 per person and go on a week night. the $ and dvc dates are not out yet, i just called today.

In prior years there have been only 4 nights that MNNSHP and MVMCP had AP/DVC discounted tickets. Prices should be announced within the next week. Tickets go on sale May 1.

Also, the AP/DVC discount has only been $3 more than the advance purchase price.

What I understand, so far, is that trick-or-treating is at MNSSHP, DTD, on the boardwalk at BWV, and I THINK at Fort Wilderness at the campground on Halloween.

What an amazing memory to have from childhood!!

At VWL the kids' parade with some trick/treating was late in the afternoon, around 4-5 I think. They also had other activities like preparing a trick or treat bag during the afternoon. We were busy with other things, so didn't participate, but there was a schedule.

Are the parks more crowded on the nights that the AP holders and DVC get discounts? Both for the Halloween and Christmas parties.

We have more choices for dates this year so I can choose to go on a discount night for the first time or continue our normal Thurs night visit (only have been to MVMCP, this will be our first trip to the Halloween party.)
