My DB is attending MHP on Oct. 31st with his DGF. It's a surprise birthday present for his GF. I am jealous of him, but I am excited for him to go to DL on the last day for MHP. He will decide on what to wear during MHP.

As far as I know, adults are only allowed to wear costumes to the actual Halloween party itself. Someone had posted that they heard adults with entry to MHP could wear costumes throughout the day on party day, but I'm not sure if that was ever confirmed.

I love that my costume consists of a turtle shell backpack, a ninja turtle tshirt and a ninja turtle mask haha. I can wear my costume during the day without the mask

I agree, I never noticed anyone confirm this. Also the poster that brought this up before saw it in an article and as I understood that article, assumeing I saw the same one, the author didn't arrive in the morning.

Tiggerholic, we are attending MHP on the 26th also. DD(15) and I Cowgirls DD(12) Candy Corn outfit and DH himself.

Older DD went Project Runway on me and designed and is sewing her sister's outfit. So far it is soo cute.

Is everyone going to have their lime green Mickey some where on their costume?

So I am now ditching my original plan to go as a ToT bellhop and am leaning towards a Harry Potter costume. I have all the stuff (doesn't take much) and it packs easily plus is not too hard to get around in. My kids told me I ought to go as Professor McGonagall (sp?) because "you're more her age." OUCH

I also ordered the coolest Minnie Witch hat from disneystore.com but I sort of doubt it will get here in time . I was too cheap to pay $15 to make sure that it did so I have no one to blame but myself! I'll wear it if it comes before I leave next Tues, and guess what? It has lime green Minnie ears

Hi! I am going on the 19th also! I will be dressed as Cleopatra with my DBF at Marc Antony. My niece is going to be a cat! can't wait to see everyone else's costumes! If you see a pale Cleopatra with Marc Antony, 2 women not dressed up and a baby in a cat costume come and say "hi"!

Did this at WDW a few years ago and it was huge hit.
DD just decided to join us. Her good costume is in storage, so she is just wearing a Halloween tee and Mickey Hall. ears.

Ltl_Mermaid, dh and I went to a Halloween party as Cleo and M.A. one year. We had a blast.

tlovesdis, that 't' is really cute!

LKD, my oldest dd is a huge Sailor Moon fan. I don't really know who that is--some kind of anime character?

Meriweather, I think the tacky tourist idea is GREAT!

Can't wait to go next Tues and see all the costumes. Mine won't be anything special but maybe next year...last year I went with oldest dd and we dressed as Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, which was very fun.

Did anyone go the the pary last night? If so did the FW and parade go one? I had tickets but I was worried about inclement weather so I changed and am now going next Tuesday the 26th.

Who else will be there? I can't wait!
