Southern California Halloween in LA

Hi everyone,

We are going to be in LA on the night of the 31st and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for what to do?

We heard about the West Hollywood Street Carnaval - does any one know anything about that?

If you look at the other thread on this topic (in the California and the West forum), you'll find info about the WeHo Hallween Carnival. It is not family friendly by any means and has a reputation for being a booze fest with provocative costumes. We went once and won't go back because it made us so uncomfortable.
The AMC in DtD will be showing Halloween movies -- "Maleficent" (I think) and maybe "Nightmare Before Christmas" (received an email, but the link doesn't work). There will be swing dancing in DtD by the ESPN Zone.
