Halloween Horror Nights

So.. I haven't been to HHN since 1997.. and I have a chance to see it again in sept.. but the only day I can go is the opening night.. Is it worth it and will the crowds be crazy that 1st night?

once the media leaves, crowds should be fine.
i have gone to opening nights in past years and it has been fine.
the front of the park will be crowded due to media filming.

crowds that are there do thin out in the later evening.

on the other hand, if many buy the FF and other passes that cover many of the dates, and if the houses that are announced are a draw, you could see crowds opening night.

i say if this is your only chance to do it, go for it.....

We've gone opening night last few years and it really is fine.

But, we have EP every night we go.......makes a big difference. 2014 opening night was much busier than last year........think the Halloween house may have had something to do with that........

If you can only do 1 night get EP and it will so much easier.
