Not until this summer will we know much of anything about HHN 19...they keep it under wraps. The tickets will go on sale sometime towards the end of summer.

Saw is confirmed. That's all that's known so far.

And Saw will NOT be the theme of the event.

I hope Saw isn't the theme. I find those movies rather tedious, and DH absolutely HATES them. If Saw is the theme, my job trying to get him to do to HHN will be even harder.

So do they tend to tie the dates with Disney not so scary Halloween??,I am planing a 4,5 maybe 6 day trip ths Oct and was trying to get were we will be able to do both,Its my DS Favorit time of the year and would love to see both.

Disney starts MNSSHP much earlier than HHN but HHN runs every Thursday - Sunday during October. And remember...DO NOT bring children to HHN...it's way too intense for little ones.

This is truth. It's pg-13 for a reason. If they can handle the gore, the sexualization, drunken crowds, chainsaw maniacs, hungry zombies, and plethoras of the undead that want to scare you away, then maybe.

It's hard to tell someone it's "make believe" when a zombie is lurking behind you...

Or when one of those silver mirror-people things comes scuttling at you on all fours as fast as you can run on two legs!

I went last year and we were in the chainsaw guys area and this boy was walking with his mother in front of us. He was I'd say about 9 or 10. He was walking with a swagger trying to look real tough. All of a sudden one of the guys ran after him with the chainsaw. OMG I thought that poor little boy was gonna poop his pants. I didn't know whether to laugh or go give him a hug. But, I know that my boys(12 and 14) will looooove it. If they are younger than that I would not take them. I'm 34 and thought I would be fine since I knew they couldn't touch me. OOOh no I couldn't get my brain to stay focused on that when they started breathing in my ear:scared:.
Loooooooved it:thumbsup2

A Saw house is confirmed this year? That would be amazing!

If they announce a Halloween house I'll know Universal are just mocking me!

I'm so jealous I can't make it this year :(

OMG,my DS would just love this he Is all about the scary, the zombies and the gore:cool1:

I totally agree ... HHN is no place for children :sad2: - the event is definitely catered to adults with alcohol widely available (with a definite party atmosphere). Saying that however, you know your own child and if you feel he can handle it, then the decision is up to you. You didn't say how old he was but keep in mind tickets for the event last year were $60 plus tax per person for 1 evening - it would be a shame for you to pay the money and have him walk into the park only to want to leave - it is a very intensive/immersive event. Take a look at some of the previous videos, pictures, etc, out there and then make your decision. It is definitely not in the same league as MNSSHP.

Another thing to consider is that unless you have an express pass for the evening (which is an additional expense over and above your ticket), lines for the houses usually run about 60-90 minutes on an off peak night. With 8 houses plus scarezones, you'd be lucky to get everything all done in one evening.

My DS Is 16yo,and loves the scary, gore movies Its a teen thing:confused3 but thanks for the heads up

He'll be fine. He'll probably be interested in the gore and the gals.

Too bad Bloody Mary has already been used. I so could've said "don't flirt with Bloody Mary, she's going home with me."

:rotfl2:

Ya he Is going to love It:cool1:, I see there going to have a saw exhibit, my DS has all the DVD's and has met one of the actors he will like that. Its funny loves Disney:lovestruc but on the other hand loves Horror movies? the two just does not seem to match:confused3.I just wish they could help me out with there dates Its hard to plan a trip when you do not know when, well I am planing for the 8th of Oct to the 15th.We are going to do both HHN and the not so scary Disney:cool1:
