halloween horror nights - thinking of going Thurs Sept 21 - need express pass?

I wonder if the express pass will be necessary if we go on the evening of Thurs Sept 21 for halloween horror nights? To put it another way, will the regular lines be long or short, based upon last year's experience?

At this point, not sure

Can say September hhn crowds are lighter than October

Wednesday will be the lightest crowd of the week
Thursday would be next lightest based on crowd size

If reports come in that first week of hhn was fantastic and one of the better ones, that will encourage more to attend

If you go and find line waits are too long for you, buy the ep that night in the park

One thing in your favor is it is a weekday
Some that have to work the next morning possibly will leave the park early Thursday night
