Halloween Horror Nights theme announced

OMG. we picked a perfect year to go back! My hubby is going to LOVE it! :goodvibes

Yes, I need to see Dead Silence since it is one of the houses announced this year. But Leatherface, Freddy, and Jason are all well-known to most horror enthusiasts although I would have loved to have Michael Myers again also.

Even though I will scream like a 3 year old and not sleep for a week, I may have to go see this :scared1: :scared1:

I remember Dead Silence and I dont want to see it again! There is a very scary clown puppet.:scared1:

Beware the stare of Mary Shaw
She had no children, only dolls
And if you see her, do not scream
Or she'll rip your tongue out at the seam.

This theme is sure to do me in. :scared: :scared1:

Its been a tradition, since we started dating, that we attend HHN every year. We have been going for the past 4 yrs together, (of course I've been going to HHN since 2000 and he has been going since 98, so were long time fans of HHN), and we thought that we weren't going to be able to make it this year since we got married and just moved into our new place, but I finally got the go ahead for HHN this year from my Hubby.:woohoo: So after seeing this Year's theme for HHN, I'm super excited that we are able to go!!:cool1: Growing up as a little kid the only scary character that could actually scare me was Freddy Krueger and i'm still scared until this day of him:scared1: , so I'm super excited that he's one of the major characters in this year's HHN.:goodvibes

Not to be nitpicky, but a "theme" hasnt been announced just yet. They are going to have a few houses set to movies.....but I've also heard some talks of Jack coming back and have even seen a picture of him in front of a circus tent with 3 tarot cards, those being Freddy, Jason and Leatherface.
I know they have announced the coming of Dead Silence, and I've heard flutters about Black Christmas, but I dont think we'll see a whole movie themed event.......at least thats the vibe I got from the press conference:

If you listen this week, we have the entire press conferences with Jim Timon, one of the big guys over at Universal, and when asked about the overall theme he says its going to be a huge surprise, and when asked about Jack he dances around without confirming or denying that he will be back.....from what I've learned, that means he's coming back.

Where did you see this?

I saw this picture and it has the circus tent to the left but no Jack in it.

I had the same problem last HHN. I had already purchased my tickets online and then later decided to add the Stay and Scream. Just call the reservations line and they can add it over the phone. Very easy.
Sorry, I can't recommend a time. I remember getting throught right away.

Thanks for the reply - managed to get through and the answer was to add on the Stay & Scream when you get to the gates! Ordered the Express ones over the internet.:thumbsup2

This year it will be so worth it to get the tour. Last time I got to see almost all the houses twice.:thumbsup2

Sound great. We are going down for a weekend for our anniversary and got my brother and sister in law to go. This will be great.

We are going for the first time this year and I'm not really looking forward to it - but in another way I am! I don't like being scared but love horror films. My OH is really looking forward to it - I might leave him there and go to MNSSHP!

Seriously, are they as good as they look on the website? What are the crowds like? Any tips and hints?

Absolutely, 100% go! You will love it. I went last year with a group of friends for the first time and we still talk about it. In fact this year I tried to round up the gang again but nobody was able to get the vacation. That's not stopping me though.......I leave on a cruise 10/14-19, then over to Disney from 10/19-24 and I have already scheduled my HHN for October 21(then, of course, MNSSHP on the 23rd) Why not do it all in one shot, right?
