Going to HHN this year over the weekend of October 7-9th. I've been to HHN plenty of times in the past (roughly a dozen) but I've always gone around Halloween weekend or close to my birthday on the 21st.

What are the crowds like that weekend? I know in mid-October that local kids have a three day weekend. Do any Floridians know if that holiday is scheduled this year on the weekend of the 7th-9th?

I'm most likely going to HHN on Friday and Sunday that weekend (our reservations agent confirmed those dates are currently scheduled). Trying to get a sense if I need to purchase Express passes for both nights, as I've always had to in the past for Halloween weekend.

Thanks!

i have attended HHN that same time period since 2004 or 5....

the thursday will not be crowded.
friday will have it's crowds but be there early for the stay and scream to stay ahead of the crowds.

saturday......ugh.
it's usually the black die event that corporations book and attend for tours.
extremely crowded.
i stopped going on saturday nights 2 years back since it was dreadfully crowded.....

sunday has become a very popular night for HHN.
it used to be a well known secret for having less crowds but that changed 3 years back.
it is now as crowded as a friday night is.
(but still at the non peak ticket rate)

do buy the express for friday and sunday night.

you'll thank me for that later.

totally and completely addicted to HHN........
it roxs......

each hhn season, i make up a thread for dates when homies plan to attend.

be sure to sign up on that so you can meet up with a lot of us that post here.
