Halloween events & activities

[The Disney Bunch]

We are going to be down at WDW during Halloween and I would like some ideas of some things to do that does not involve going to Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween party. Our kids are really too young to enjoy that yet but we still want the flavor of Halloween. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!

Don't know all the details or any firsthand experience BUT I've heard they do Trick or Treating at DTD on Halloween night and I've heard that the Boardwalk does some too!

I've also heard that some resorts do trick or treating for their guests.

We spent our Halloween night at MK last year for the first time and it was great fun! Crowded but GREAT fun!

When we called and got our tickets for MNSSHP, we spoke to a very informative cast member. We got tickets for October 30 with the idea that we could do some other Halloween activites on the 31st. She said that usually there are several activites planned at resorts, downtown disney etc. and that usually a week before, they will release the details of the activites.

Does anyone know where one would find this information for the events for Halloween, not involving MNNSHP?
