We’re traveling the last week in August, and I know there are already Halloween parties going on that week, but will Magic Kingdim already be decked out in Halloween decor?
I’m normally a “anytime is a good time for Halloween!” type of girl, I’m not sure if I need pumpkins and such in all my pictures from August. That seems early, even for me.

I suspect the decorations will mostly all magically appear the night of 8/16 after the park closes.

Definitely. I know when the first party was the very end of August right before Labour Day, the deocrations went up overenight somewhere around mid-week leading up to it. We were there and one day regular MK and the next day, boom, it's Hallowe'en!

With parties in August I would expect MK to be fully dressed up in their Halloween decor

I'm kinda frustrated with that TBH. I'm very much not a Halloween person, which is my own issue, but I know this so I try and travel to Disney any other time, primarily Nov and later so I can get the Christmas decor, which is much more my thing. I booked for the week of the 17th this year thinking I'm gone before September so it should be fine, but lo and behold they have the first MNSSHP on my arrival day. I'm happy to be in Disney, but at almost a quarter of the year being "Halloween" I'm just a bit over it. I get that its a huge draw for some, but for those who dont love Halloween, its a bit excessive .

I imagine that those who aren’t into Christmas feel much the same about their November - January trips.

Yeah I completely get that, and as much as I love Christmas, I feel like it can come down right after new years. But its a huge draw as well. Not saying I dont understand, just that I personally find it excessive
