Halloween decorations at FW

When do people start decorating their campsites for Halloween? We are going in October, and I would like to bring my kids by on the 10th if campsites will be decorated that early. My DS4 LOVES Halloween, even more than Christmas! He loves the spooky decorations, so I thought it might be fun to look around and do the Chip and Dale thing.
Also, is that something we could walk around and look at, or should we rent a golf cart, or drive? Thanks for any advice.

The Halloween decorations pretty much coincide with the start of MNSSHP.
To see them all would be ALOT of walking, a golf cart gets you much more up close and personal with the spooky stuff over driving, and you can easily stop for a closer look. Looping thru the campground in a vehicle is also frowned upon for guests and non-guests alike.
