Looking for ideas for family Halloween costumes. I'm a big guy (4x) with glasses, so we're struggling to come up with ideas that would accommodate. It would be my wife and I, and two boys (11 & 5). We're driving to port so no worries about how much luggage space they might take up.

The Incredibles!
The Flintstones (non Disney but I have seen people dressed up as them on Halloween cruises before)

I have been dressing up as an adult for about 20 years at different places like the YMCA and a Senior Center as a volunteer and I have glasses , but I don't let the glasses make my costume choices limited. I've been so many things that don't wear glasses and everyone loved my costumes with glasses. So don't worry about that. I am also plus size, but I'm female and 6 feet tall. I have looked all over the internet and have found that www.etsy.com has a lot of plus size costumes for men and women. Just put in to the search "Halloween costumes for plus size men" or something similar. I also find pieces to costumes on etsy and at Halloween store websites and put them together with clothing I buy at stores or have in my closet. I do that for almost all my costumes. I wish you luck. Don't let the glasses get you down. :smooth:

This is probably the direction we're heading. Thanks for your suggestions @Iris1974. I was thinking of getting a second job to support my wife's etsy addiction!

I'm a decently large guy and I costume as King Robert Baratheon from Game of Thrones. That whole show has enough characters to be able to get all four of you in costumes.

How about you all dress as different super heroes. Disney is getting into Marvel now. You could be Clark Kent with the glasses, I have no idea if Superman is Marvel or not, but superhero costumes are pretty easy to find.

Last year my family did Star Wars. You could do Wizard of Oz and be the Cowardly Lion.

Superman is not Marvel. I was thinking that too with the Marvel costumes but it seems like just about every one of them is a skin tight thing, so many people may not be comfortable with that.
