Halloween at the resorts

I simply can't remeber if the wdw hotels decorate for Halloween? What have you see recently? What about trick or treating at the resorts?

I was also wondering this. We will be there for Halloween and DD wants to know if we can put pumpkins outside of our door. We are staying at POR. We don't want to carve them or anything, just set them out.

We were at Yacht Club a little over a week ago, and ate at a few different resorts. Except for the gift shop merchandise, I don't remember seeing any Halloween decorations at the resorts.

They had stuff at both resorts ( POP and POFQ) the past 2 years we were down on halloween. Not much like X-mas but some fun craft stuff and a few pumpkins painted.
