Halloween at Disneyland (Trying to avoid!)

As you can tell, I have some planning in the works for next year (When do I not have any planning going on ) Here's the latest of my wishes!

So...I'd love to go to Hawaii, then onto San Diego next year to jump on to the 2 night Disney Wonder Cruise (never been on a cruise, and if I'm going on one Disney is priority) then onto Disneyland and home.

The only thing that concerns me is those cruises are in October, and I don't really want to be in Disneyland for Halloween celebrations. I'm not boring, I did enjoy my Halloween at Aulani last year but I'd prefer to see their regular parades and fireworks rather than the seasonal ones. Will this happen for the entire month of October? I know its their 60th anniversary next year and if its like their 50th they have some awesome special parades and fireworks, would hate to miss out because I chose October. Thoughts?

This year Halloween time is rumoured to be starting on Friday 12th September, and will run right through to Halloween night (hasn't been confirmed yet, but based on previous years).

I would think it would be highly unlikely that Halloween time would start any later than late September next year.

However, the seasonal parades and fireworks are only part of the hard ticket Halloween party. So if you just avoid party nights, you should still get the regular entertainment schedule. Or do one of each and get the best of both worlds!

The normal fireworks are only on weekends in September/October so make sure you include a weekend if you really want to see them.

Thanks for the heads up, if its like the 50th Anniversary they should do it nightly next year I hope.
