Hello all. I'm new here (my first post). I am not though, new to Disney. I've been 3 times now and can't wait to go back. My first time there was October of 93 for our honeymoon. Then we brought our two boys who were 4 & 5 at the time and then just went again last year when they were 8 & 9. Just yesterday my hubby said that he wants to go again (I think he's more excited than the boys) :cool1: He was literally doing this type of dance when he decided that we were going and hasn't stopped since. ANYWAYS...he has decided that this time we go he wants to take the boys out of school for the week and go when the weather is a bit cooler and there's not so many people there. We've decided on sometime next fall ('07) I got to thinking that maybe going for Halloween would be kinda neat. Does Disney "DO" Halloween? Do the kids dress up in costumes? Is there trick or teating? Is is decorated? Anything special going on? How's the crowds....How's the weather? The sad thing is....we went on our Honeymoon and was down there for Halloween (I'm not sure if we were in one of the actual parks on Halloween...or maybe that's one of the days we went to KSC or Sea World, etc) So I really don't remember. When I asked him if he wanted to go during Halloween, he said no since we'll be missing trick or treating at home. :scratchin I was like...HELLOOOOOO we'll be in DISNEY!!!!!! Would you rather be home trick or treating or be in Disney. Sometimes, I just can't understand him :confused3 Anyhow, any tips on going during Halloween would be great. Thanks for listening to my rambling. Pam

You didn't mention what days you'll be there, but trick or treating at MNSSHP is much better than doing it at home.....Even when it's not on Halloween. They offer a good number of dates for this party. If you don't want to be there when it's real crowded, don't go on Halloween. Also avoid weekends if possible. It still feels like Halloween no matter which day you go. It is a DO NOT MISS in my opinion.
