Halloween activities besides MNSSHP

We've decided this year, due to the price, not to do MNSSHP. Are there any other Halloween activities on the 31st?

The hotels usually have trick o treating for kids staying there. Fort Wilderness is known for the golf cart parade.

Yeah, it's nothing big, but most of the resorts will have small activities, like a costume contest or guess the number of candy corns in a jar type of things, possibly a Halloween movie out by the pool. They create a fun atmosphere.

We did MNSSHP back in 2014 and decided not to do it this year because of the price and we wanted to see what they were doing at the hotel since we stay at BCV.

Are you DVC? If so there is a members event on twice at the Contemporary Convention Centre in the afternoon and again in the evening on the 31st

We were at BLT last year for Halloween and they had a TON of activities for kids in the afternoon and a costume contest and trick o treating around 5 or 6. Lots of games, dj/music, cookie decorating, free little prizes, crafts, candy, etc. Our 9 year old loved it but it was a very hot afternoon! The event as on the lawn between the Contemporary and BLT.

We also attended the DVC party which was only $15pp last year. They had desserts, drinks, characters, free photos, free face painting and a dance party with Chip & Dale and Donald/Daisy. I would recommend the party if you are DVC but if you aren't I would suggest you check out the event on the lawn during the late afternoon.

I never jewelry about the party for DVC but then again I am all new to this

was wondering the same thing about the Poly. We checkin on halloween and while i know we will be in disney, i hate to say it, but my kids (age 7 and 9, who don't know about the trip yet) will probably still be disappointed that they are missing trick-or-treating!
