Halloween activities at the Boardwalk?

Hey guys! We will be at the World the week of Halloween this year. We are doing MNSSHP Tuesday, the 28th so wanted to also do something on actual Halloween. Right now, our plans are to eat dinner around 5:30 and then head to the Boardwalk. I was wondering if anyone has been there the last few years and could give me an idea of a timeline for events? I saw a copy of the activities at Port Orleans last year and the trick or treating ended really early, like 6:00ish. Is that the case at the Boardwalk as well? I looked into changing some ADRs so we could go to Ft. Wilderness instead but as of now, CRT is booked that afternoon (we have Akershus booked right now). Thanks for any help!
