Hiya

Well after much looking I finally found the prices for the tickets for the halloween partys (based on last years prices)

mnsshp $39
universal hallowen $60
busch gardens halloween $60

all rounded up to the nearest dollar, so if your wanting to go to all three its around £93 per adult which I dont think is bad.

But why is universal so much more than disney?

I have been looking for halloween hay ride prices but cant find them.

So what else can I plan for (in advance lol), so I know what money I need to get together.

Also we are staying at pop century, can we decorate the window halloween style? and are there decs on sale too?

when we were staying at all star movies back in october 04 we saw plenty of windows dressed up with halloween decorations but i don't know where you can buy them from are you planning on going to mnsshp then?we are planning on going again next year we had a blast the last time we went

Are these really the prices for 2007 as I know the 2006 dates have only just come out so how have you found the prices for 2007? Another question - where does everyone get their costumes from. I want to dress up but I'm not sure of the rest of the family, a little persuasion will be needed I think!

But why is universal so much more than disney?

You cannot compare the Disney Halloween to the Universal one. Universal has 7 haunted houses for the event. This putting up the price. Although $59 for a frequent fear pass (go as many times as you want during of peak days) is cheap enough...

MNSSHP is more "family-friendly" than Halloween Horror Nights at Universal or Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens, too!

Don't forget those prices for HHN & HOS are for single day tickets & won't be as much as that if you upgrade from your park pass.Last visit I think we paid about $25 +tax to stay & scream. If you have never been to HHN or HOS & are wondering why they are dearer than MNSSHP one visit is enough to show you why!Some of the houses are like being on a film set with Freddy Krueger et al. Clean underwear is a must!!

uk tigger, yes we are going mnsshp, the trips planned especially to take in the halloween things, we would have gone for halloween, but we have a big party here at home that I organise so I cant get out of it. Are you going in october next year?

Hi Mushu we'll be there 2 days before you! In '04 Coke or Pepsi were also doing a ring pull promo which also gave you discounts on the stay to scream tickets,so it will be worth listening to some of the local radio stations for details.

We went last year and loved the mnsshp. We wanted to go back this year, but our finances wouldnt let us

We are planning to go next year. We were originally going to go in March for a week and then 2 weeks in October, however looking at flight prices we may as well as wait and go for 3 weeks in October 2007. It all depends if Bruce still wants to go for 3 weeks. We are in the planning mode at the moment.

I cant wait to book it, but apparently we have to wait till June to book now, as our heating has gone it maybe a gas valve, which is apparently expensive. We also have to get our other car through its MOT and then service our new car.

Ooops sorry I kind of went off topic there. I really enjoyed the halloween party, this is the main reason why we are going back in October and not in May. We loved it so much. The fireworks were unreal and the whole event was well worth the money.
