I started watching midway through the second season (sometime after the Nimoy napkin episode but before (I think) "Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock"). It is not something you have to watch from the start to make sense. If you know (or knew) any super-geeks or nerds you'll probably find it hilarious.

There are a good number of references to what happened in past episodes, this weeks was a good example but it was the season premier; not so many that you feel you missed the humor.

My wife and I love BBT and Two and Half Men.

But I really miss Rules of Engagement. For some reason, they won't give this show a full season. It's supposed to be coming back as a mid season replacement.

I finally got to watch it last night. This show is so funny and smart at the same time.

The toy story line was too funny but did you notice he also looked like the kid from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?

OK, so I've been a fan of BBT for over a season now. Love it.

However, after 2 shows, I feel this season is already a bit annoying with the Penny/Leonard relationship.

Any thoughts?

I totally agree! If I wanted to watch that kind of show... I'd watch 2 1/2 Men! (no I am not a prude I just like good writing and comedy that doesn't have to sink to that!)

Just started watching this because of this thread. Nothing makes me happier than hearing James laugh out loud. Great show. I am all for the chocolates. I have rewarded myself quite a few times today.

I downloaded the 1st two shows, and I have to say the 2nd is HILARIOUS. I also downloaded the fish one. I can't remember what the 2nd one is about, but it is so funny.
