Halfway point hotel recommendations

we are driving down to WDW from NC and are thinking of stopping overnight in Savannah, Ga. Any recommendations for a safe, reasonably priced hotel for the night?

The Savannah exit 104 has numerous hotels to pick from, with restaurants and gas stations close by. I recall a Candlewood Suites, Hampton Inn, Wingate, Comfort Inn, and at least 4-6 more that I don't remember at the moment.
Depending on where you are coming from in NC, that exit is roughly 1/2 way to WDW (at least from the W-S area).

We stopped in Savannah too!

Both times we stayed at exit 94. We felt safe, there were plenty of eating choices, and the hotels were right off of 95.
On the way down, we were staying on Mariott points and stayed at SpringHill Suites, which was very nice, spacious, and had a nice breakfast.
On the way back, we didnt have points and stayed at Country Inn and Suites at the same exit. It was roomy, had an indoor pool and free breakfast. It was not as nice as the SpringHill suites, but it was safe and clean.
