Firstly Hi all I'm back aqnd it was amazing and currently working on gargantuan trip report

Secondly

YES you do get discount with half board plus. Well in Walts and Blue Lagoon we used the vouchers in part payment for our meals as at Walts the menu for voucher holders wasn't exaclty huge on choice, but in Blue Lagoon there was no special menu it was just part payment.

Interestinly the vouchers are £17 each (or 24 euros) but in both restaurants I was told they were exchangeable to a value of 25 euros :thumbsup2

fabulous. So in Blue LAgoon we had our free Kirs (courtesy of APs) then we chose from the buccaneer menu ordered drinks and got 10% off the entire bill and paid 50 in vouchers and the rest cash

This was also the same in Walts!

Welcome home and thanks for the tip regarding combining your annual passport discount with the halfboard vouchers :)

Thats really useful to know. DH phoned the other day to ask about this but they said we didnt get discount when buying the vouchers but he forget to ask about whether we would still get it there if the bill was more than the voucher price.

They also said we would get vouchers for the number of nights we were there - not days- which is what is seems to suggest in the brochure as well. Eg 3 nights/4 days but wil get 3 vouchers - Can you confirm Is this right?

Think we will definitely go for this option now

That's great news, looking forward to the trippie

Thats great news. I think with the way the Euro is Disney will be selling more vouchers as its works out a good deal.

I look forward to reading about your trip:thumbsup2

Hi!

Yes you get them per night, we stayed for 3 nights so got 3 vouchers each. They are well worth it with the current exchange rate being the way it is plus it is nice to have paid in advance so that's money you do not have to worry about when you are there.

We did not find them restrictive, if we did not like the suppkied menu, we used them as €25 towards the meal from the main menu.
The Lucky Nugget is €30 (about £25) not including drink, the vouchers can be used here and are £17 which includes a soft drink.

Bargain!
