Hi Guys,

Ok I'm in final 2 weeks panic mode!!

What's anyone's experience of october half term crowds and queuing times? There are 16 in our party so I'm planning on reservations for meals, and I've organised taxi shuttles from and to the airport.

Any park plan ideas??

Cheers,

Lynn
:thumbsup2

Nobody??

Bumping to see if any info around!

You need to get there early ie 45 mins to 1 hour before opening as they will open the turnstiles 30 mins before and let you through to Main Street. You then need to place yourself in front of whichever rope leads to the land you want first and when the rope drops, RUN! :rotfl: I'll never forget our dash to meet the princesses by the castle: I almost fell over the rope!!! :rotfl:
You could also send a couple of the people in your party around to Fastpass everything you want to go on as it will undoubtedly be very busy and the Fastpasses will probably go quickly. They'll be dead on their feet by the time they get back though! :lmao:
With any parades, you'll find that people will start taking their places up to an hour in advance, so if you want a good view, get there early!

I'm toying with the idea of popping over during half term too. I haven't been to €uroDisney in over a decade! It always works out cheaper to go to Florida (when I split the holiday cost per day) so we usually go there.

I didn't think it would be THAT busy. I thought it was only the Brits who had half term end of October?

I'll see if I can find a cheap deal...

To be honest it's not that busy at half terms. As a teacher it's the only real time i can go, but have never seen much of a difference in queue times etc :) hope this helps a little

We were there last October half term, and it was by no means as busy as it was the weekend before christmas. It was about the same as it was during the summer...which means you need to fastpass as much as you can. Up until about 11am you can get on most things without too much of a wait, but things usually get really busy by lunchtime. We are going this October half term, but our school half term must be later, as they don't break up until 27th October. When do you go?

Thanks for the replies guys.

We go on sunday 22nd oct which is the beginning of our half term, so I think you must be a week behind us.

Same as our half term :)

We have been at halloween (half term) for the last 3 years and although busy, the parks have never been overcrowded. I think school holidays are staggered across european countries, so UK half-term doesnt overlap the Franch/Spanish/German etc.

PS you'll love it, we fly out on 23rd for the week and cant wait :bounce:
