Half day - where to start

DH says we can leave early . That means we should get to the parks by 3. US is closing at 7 that night, IOA stays open until 9. What should we do? Or should we just try to knock out things w/o lines. We'll have FOTL. (I think my OC planning for WDW over the years has warped me.

If you are going to have Express access for that day, you could possibly do both. Since the Studios is closing at 7pm, you might want to hit your favorite attractions and then head over to IOA.

are you driving from home and then get to the parks that same day?

that will be a tiring trip and those hours at the parks will seem long.
hopefully it will not be on a hot day as that could wipe you out from having fun at the parks if you drive straight to universal without any breaks.




do as metro stated then, hit the park that closes first and then head with the rest of the crowd to IOA

i see you are staying on site. just spend a short time at the parks and then return to the hotel for a pool break for the end of the evening.

start fresh the next morning.

We got to the parks at that exact time on the first day of our vacation in April.
We decided to go to US. I was surprised by how much we got done and the park closed at 6:00.
We were able to do the following:
Jimmy Neutron
Shrek
Twister
Men in Black
The Simpsons Ride (before the express line was being used) 30 minute wait
Disaster
Jaws
E.T.
We did have FOTL.
After that we went to the RPR pool and had snacks and drinks!!!
We had eaten a late lunch at Hard Rock before we went to US.
