We can either go to Typhoon Lagoon from 1-5 on Saturday or 10-2 on Sunday.

If there were no other factors, which would you pick and why? (There are other factors for us but I'm leaving them out for now).

That is what I am leaning towards... The only "factor" is that we are going to MNSSHP that night and I'd like to be at MK as close to 4 as possible. But it's our only full day on property (pre-cruise) so I don't think we'd be totally exhausted because it's just one day.

Unquestionably 10-2 (assuming it opens at 10am not 9). You will get on everything you want during those hours. From 1-5pm, it's going to be busy...and it might rain.

Yes, it opens at 10. Sadly the off season hours are only 10-5. It's a few bucks cheaper but still sad. But we will make it work!

Another agreement with the 10-2 plan. We like going early, getting a good spot and then enjoying the slides/shark reef with little to no wait.

10-2 so that you have the rest of the day to finish with the park of your choosing. Plus, crowds are lower first thing in the morning and less chance of showers.

You can be done by 1pm, head back to resort, rest and be to MK by 4pm if you want. Nothing MNSSHP related starts until 7pm so that 4pm-7pm timeframe are just regular park hours. You could get there a little later and still have plenty of time at MK.

Which day are you doing this? This is our plan on our MNSSHP day. TL in the morning and then MNSSHP in the afternoon.

I'd do 10-2.
The ground at the water parks get really hot towards 2, and burnt feet aren't fun.

10-2 no question. It gets more crowded, to hot and higher chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.

10-2 Sunday.

Weekends with September heat and school in session (locals can have APs) means the water parks could be crowded.

SO I would pick the day you can arrive at opening.

Arriving at 1 on a Saturday will likely mean no lounges in decent locations and longer lines at the slides.
