Hi All wondering if anyone can help me we are thinking of making a trip at the end of march taking advantage of the 40% offer and going half board standard as are going to stay in the cheyenne. My sons annual pass has expired but because we sponsored we have six months left on ours.

What are the face value of the standard half board vouchers?

Can I use these at face value in any restaurant and then use my dream passport for discount on the bill as well?

When we were there last week, my Dad used his standard half board voucher, bought for £13, at a face value of 19 euros, in the silver Spur restaurant. However I know the voucher prices are changing, so not sure how that will affect the face value price :confused3

Not sure about the dream pass bit, sure someone will be along soon to help with that :thumbsup2

It varies from restaurant to restaurant or even CM to CM but in most places you can use your dream AP to get extra discount.

Sometimes they take the cost of the vouchers off first then give the discount on whats left and other times they take the discount off first (which is obviously better)

Now that I didn't know ;) I am assuming there is no discount buying these HB vouchers if you are an AP holder or shareholder

You cant get a discount on actually buying the vouchers in the first place but usually can on anything owed at the end of the meal

thanks for sharing that bit of info. I wasnot aware you could combine HB with annual/shareholder discounts, that is fantastic as every penny or euro really counts at the mo :thumbsup2

This confuses me a bit too I'm planing a trip for May but can't figure out whether buying HB vouchers would save any more money than using our dream annual passes. I'm sure I read somewhere that HB vouchers save 15% but dream annual passes save 20% :confused3

Thanks guys I thought that buying HB vouchers would help us budget with euro being what it is and also that we are paying for the vouchers in £. Thought if I could use them at face value then they would give us more flexibility to eat what we like especially if they take of annual pass holders discount first.

The AP only saves you 10%

And the HB vouchers can save you a whole lot more than 15%, depending on where you use them. We typically saved around 25% on each of our meals using HB plus vouchers.

Thanks HB it is then:thumbsup2 In all the times we've been even stayed in DLH twice we've never eaten at CG/Inventions so will need to opt for HB premium as really want to go there. My DD2 is almost 5 now and is starting to eat more. I've never thought it would be worth it when she was younger (plus she would never sit down for more than 2 seconds at a time threats work better now shes old enough to understand:rolleyes1 )
