half board plus is it worth it?

We are going for two nights and three days and are staying at the Sequoia lodge. We can add half board plus to our vacation and it would be 116 for dh and I (dd is 2) it can be used at 14 resturants. So my question is, is it worth it?

We took it for our coming trip in July but obviously haven't used it yet. We decided to go for it because we want to do the Lucky Nuggets Saloon and it is included and it's quite a saving. We also plan on eating either at Cape Cod or Auberge de Cendrillon (also on the list) and probably will exchange the last voucher at face value at Inventions.
My reasonning was that since we planned on doing buffet meals (so that our 2 kids are not stuck with only "kids" food) we have nothing to lose.

Thank you for that link...it explains it a little better...but im still slightly confused it says if your staying 3 nights you get 3 vouchers does that only cover a meal a day then? So your still paying for the other meal since breakfast is free?

okay I think its figured out now...I called and talked to ar eally nice man...he said we can use the vouchers for lunch and dinner...so im thinking we will def do it to save on money.

Really? I thought it was for 1 meal per day like lunch or dinner??? Does anyone have more info on this?

thats what I thought but he said that it should include lunch and dinner other wise I don't see it saving any money. It would be 116 for four vouchers and wow that would be $30 a meal per person. I hope its not that expensive

I am re-reading the catalog and it is 1 voucher per night valid for lunch OR dinner. It is 24 euros per adults. 10 euros for kids.

You have to choose if you want to use the voucher for lunch or diner. It is more for convenience (prepayment) than for the savings.

If it included both meals wouldn't it be called "Full board". The very name half board suggests that it only includes one meal (in addition to the already inluded breakfast).

PS The buffet at Hotel Cheyenne cost 22 Euro with a soft drink (20 without) just to give you a guide to the prices there.

see thats what I thought...that it was just one meal but the man was confusing the heck out of me on the phone. It doesn't seem like much of a savings. I wish we could see how much food was atthe park.
