Last year we went half board and it we enjoyed the food in the hotels but was very limited with dishes from the restaurants.

If we were to eat in the hotel without half-board vouchers, how much would that cost roughly per person??

Would you recommend half board of just buy when your there?

The way the euro is right now, I'd say half board vouchers make sense.

I'm going to use my half board plus vouchers at full buffet restaurants, ie Cape Cod and Billy Bobs in the Village. I believe the current cost at Cape Cod is 27 euro per adult, 13 euro per child. Billy Bobs would be around the same price now I'd imagine.

Converted to pounds for those 2 dinners, that would be around £65. I paid £50 buying half board plus vouchers in advance, and adding it to my Disney package.

on the DLRP Magic guide site it says...

Half Board Plus
Gives you even more choice, up to 14 restaurants, including some of the most magical locations in the entire resort and restaurants at Disney's Hotel New York, Disney's Newport Bay Club and Disney's Sequoia Lodge.
£17 per adult per night / £7 per child per night

But when I am looking at the booking form it quotes for half board plus ...

for 2 adults & 2 children = £ 156.00 -
I was unsure whether or not this includes vouchers for the day you go home aswell??? as it doesnt say in the info section how many days it covers.

But going by the price above shouldnt it be only £144 for 3 days worth or £192 to include the 4 days.

Hi,

The current price for Half Board plus, until 6th November 08, is £17 per adult, and £8 per child. This is what I was charged, and its the price quoted in the current Disney brochure. From 7th November, the adult price is £18, and child price remains at £8.

You have to buy the vouchers for each person in your party, and for every night you have booked on your hotel package.

So for example, my sister has booked half board plus for her party - 2 adults and 2 children, and we are staying 2 nights at an onsite hotel. So her total was £100 to add half board plus to her booking.

Thanks for all your help.

Its all booked now !!! I am sooooooo very excited !!!!!

:cheer2:  :yay: :woohoo:
