Half board help please

Can someone please help me understand the half board plus meal plan?
I've just booked a last minute Sequoia lodge stay that comes with 15% off and Half board meal plan. I called to check which plan is included and the CM said half board plus. I was just expecting standard but ok
We have never used this system before and I realy need help. The CM directed me to a page where it shows me where I can use the vouchers. Great but there are no menus and then on other sites it says I can exchange the voucher for their face value and order whatever we like? Help

For menus have a look at the menu page on DLPGuide.com. There is also a break down on which resturants you can use the vouchers at on that site here and on the DLP website.

And you can use the vouchers at other resturants at their face value.
