I don't usually buy castrecordings before I've seen the show, but I ended up buying Hairspray the other day. It's so fun! I've been singing all day-

Stop! Don't! No! Please!
Stop! Don't! No! Please!
Stop! Don't! No! Please!
Mama, I'm a big girl now!

my dd's have been singing this ever since we got the cast album -- even before they saw the show. and their dance teacher was using this song in class. great song, great show!

I finally saw Hairspray almost 2 weeks ago - we lucked out and got 3 row G center tickets. I had been holding out on getting tickets until I found something good since I have an acquaintance who's in the ensemble and I really wanted to be up close to see her. It was great, so much fun! And Brooke was great too, she was so excited that we came to see her. :)

Love that song too!

Good morning, Baltimore!

this was dd's first Broadway experience a month ago. She loved it. She had her own money and declined to purchase the $15.00 program. But when they came through the aisles at intermission with the CD's she couldn't dig her money out fast enough!!

She's been singing those songs ever since. Well that, and "Bye Bye Birdie", her school production this year!
