It's been too long for me to remember but how well do the hairdryers in the rooms work? I have midback length hair and am thinking I will probably need to pack my own, tho I'd rather not. Any comments? Thanks.

Yes, most of them (Yacht club definitely) have them but they are low wattage, and if your hair is at all thick I would bring your own because they will take FOREVER to dry your hair. Mine is thick and halfway down my back and it took so long to dry I ended up wearing it in wet ponytail almost every morning. YUCK!

Be aware that airlines are now enforcing the weight limits on checked baggage, and charges for overweight suitcases are steep. I always use the line from the movie "SpaceBalls" on my DW:

"Take only what you need to survive..."

I have really thick shoulder length hair and can never stand there that long to use the room hair dryer. It would take me an hour to dry it completely. I always bring my own. I have a small sized one that's full power, I think from Brookstone, Sharper Image or something like that. I still give up about 3/4 of the way, I've been married 8 1/2 yrs, who do I have to impress! LOL

Thanks everyone. Exactly what I thought. I'll bring my own. I don't think my hairdryer is going to make it or break it with weight. We have a nice one that the handle folds over and the cord is retractable. Still one more thing to pack but oh well. I have to pay for my beauty.
