Hairdryers at POR ???

Are there hair dryers on the walls in all rooms? I had a friend ask me who is staying in the AB section, but I couldn't remember from my last stay there. Can anyone help me out here?

We're just back from a stay at Alligator Bayou, and there were hair dryers in the rooms.

Were the only updates to AB fridges and new mattresses?

Was your room clean? Did you look under the bed? Any crumbs? What's you feeling on the housekeeping? I remember reading some real negative comments on AB housekeeping.

I'm also just back from 7 nights in AB (10/08-10/15). Had a hairdryer, fridge and new mattress in room. Our room had not been renovated as far as paint, etc. but I know that the renovations are not completed yet either. Our mousekeeper was great - plenty of towels, room clean, etc. I did not and have never looked under our beds in our hotel room - I'm just not a biggie on that kind of thing. I do wipe down the door handles, tv remote and phone with antibacterial/disinfecting wipes and pull the spread off the bed but that's about it. Had a great trip and can't wait to go back next Oct.

We did not have a fridge in our room, but we did have new beds, and were they comfy!! That was great. The mousekeeping was not exactly what I'd call great. There was junk in the drawers from the previous guests, stuff on the floor from them too. I doubt our room was vacuumed before we arrived, and I know it wasn't vacuumed while we were there. They came pretty early in the AM to clean. One morning we went to eat and by the time we came back our room was clean. The towel supply was fine, the shampoo did not get replenished every day which was sort of a problem. No towel animals or anything fun like that. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give the mousekeeping a 4.5.

Thanks dixiegirl and glennandann. I'm so dissappointed to hear mousekeeping isn't improving. We'll be there in less than two months.
