For some reason, I cant recall if there is a hairdryer in the rooms on the ship.

On a side note, does anyone know if they have them at BeachClub Villas in the rooms too?

Thanks!

Yes on both accounts. the one on the cruise is kinda strange. It worked fine for my family, but I have heard that if you have think and long hair, you may want to bring your own. The one at BCV is the standard hotel dryer.

We always bring our own when we cruise...the one in the bathroom is useless if you have longer hair.

The blow dryers in the cabin we agree (we think
is a defect) they DO get beyond hot while trying
to blow dry your hair.

We do bring our own, BUT, the hair dryers today
have very large plugs to plug in and you really
have to push to make it work in the ships plugs.

But we bring our own. The watts of the ships
blow dryers, well lets just say your hair will
still be damp when you get back :)

dizneyusa....we solve that problem by bringing either an extension cord or power strip with us.....with 2 teens and a 20 year old...we have many, many applicances to plug in on a cruise!!!

I agree! the hair dryers in the cabin are the worst! I couldn't plug my hair dryer in on my last Disney cruise and I was one unhappy camper! From now on, I'm packing an extension cord, then all will be well with the world.

I always pack mine (just in case), but most of the time I use the one in the bathroom. Keep in mind that I have short hair.

There is obviously a difference of opinion, and maybe a difference in performance/condition of the dryer from room to room....

My 13 DD has long, thick hair and had no problem quickly drying her hair, but I guess not all the dryers work as well, so bring one is you must.

Thanks for the extension cord idea. I was only
worried about an overload? Would not want
to be the cause of a blowout on the floor, could
you imagine (OMGOSH).

I thought about one of those extension plug
in's that lets you do 2 or 3 at a time, but then
that is thick also. I just just a plain old extension
cord might have that at the end for more than
one.

But 2 blow dryers at once, I think overload, we
will stick to the one at a time in one plug :)

DECISIONS, this is over a blow dryer (LOL) must
look our best before leaving the cabin (all men
stop rolling your eyes ::yes:: )

But really THANKS for the update :)
