Haircut on Main St in MK...???

Does anyone know how far in advance you must make a ressie for a haircut at the barber shop on Main Street? My 10-y-o wants to get his hair cut there....how do ya make a ressie anyhoo??

They don't take reservations. It is first come first serve. It is so much fun for the kids. They do such a great job. We try to do this everytime we go. If you get there when they open you shouldn't have to long of a wait. Have a great time!

What is the cost for this? I think it would be cute for DS2 and DH to do this together.

They also do spectacular braiding for little girls not needing a haircut. My DD looks forward to having her hair done. Cost was $5, but may have gone up, don't remember if I paid $10 last time or not.

I stopped there back in Oct '00 and got my haircut. I had my sisters wedding the following weekend and knew I wouldn't have time to get ti done at home. Just walked right in, no wait. Very nice gentleman. I also went in the morning.

I didn't need mine cut last year, but I got a French Braid and the gel/pixie dust. I was showing DD it was OK, it was her 1st haircut. I was very impressed and I will be getting it done on our next trip.

Oh, I will definitely do the braiding this year! I always go and watch my boyfriend get his haircut...a braid would be great, and usually it lasts a couple of days which can be a great timesaver in the mornings!

Do they open at 9 when the park opens or do they ever open earlier like when Main Street is open at 8:30? Hoping to get DD a braid before the ropes drop.

My DW is always telling me I need a hair cut (typically I do) and she just happened to make a comment while we were at MK this past January. I quickly said okay and walked right into the barbershop and got a quick trim and a little glitter (okay a lot of glitter, some green dye and a cool googly eyed Mickey on the back of my head).

Was a lot of fun but next year I think I will stop with the Mickey on the back of my head.
