Hair Wraps at the Boardwalk

Yes, they were there every day of our trip.

Yep, the stand is on the Boardwalk near the entrance to the Friendship boats. I believe it opens late afternoon into the night, depending on the season.

my daughter just had a hairwrap there on Wed night (2/20), they open at 5pm. However I want to mention that I am very unhappy about what I was charged for the wrap and would probably never get it done there again which is sad because it was a tradition.

My daughter has always gotten her hairwrap at the Boardwalk (approx 9 times) and we always pay about $35. This time however the person continued to do the wrap even after there was no hair left. I finally said to her "I don't think you have any more hair to wrap" at which point she stopped wrapping. She then put the beads in and proceeded to measure her hair and included the beads she put in as part of the inches she charged me (so I was charged for the beads and the length it took for the beads.) She then charged me $50, the price per inch had not changed, my daughter's hair length hadn't changed but somehow I was charged a lot more than usual.

It was late and my baby was fussy so I paid and left but I am very disappointed and feel ripped off.

Just wanted to note that I believe all the wrapping stations are owned by 1 company that is contracted with Disney so you might want to talk to a manager there.

FYI, I always have been charged with the total product (including beads). I usually recycle my beads over the trips so I just pay for the wrap itself.
