Hair Straighteners on Carry -Ons?

Hi Everyone,

Was just wondering if anyone knows if you can bring hair straighteners in your carry-on for your flight?

Do you mean like a flat-iron? I brought mine in my carry-on, and had no problems. Also had a curling iron, hairdryer, tweezers, nail clippers, etc.

(No, I don't pack light!)

I brought mine on a recent trip to Chicago. Wasn't a problem even though I was the recipent of the "concierge level" security check..pat down, open bag, etc!
