I'm travelling with a 15 year old trip. She wants to bring her straightener, however I'm concerned about power issues. What is the best thing to do???

Thanks

Drop into Walmart and pick up a straightener and a hair dryer when you arrive. It'll be pretty cheap, less to pack on the way over and solve your power conversion issues along the way.

You can either bring it back with you and put it in a box marked USA for the next trip or leave it there. I picked up a pretty decent dryer for about $15 from memory.

HTH.

Thank you. Not sure we'll be back for a while. Will have to go to s shop tho. I really don't like to shop much on our trips, feel like I should do it here and not waste too much holiday time shopping.

Make sure the one you have is for the voltage required for the USA, it is very different. My GHD is universal voltage, I actually purchased it in the USA and I use it at home with an adapter plug.

You could always shop on the walmart website and have it sent to your resort, be there when you check in

Look up the model to see if it is universal voltage (the Silver Bullet and GHD both are). If so, you just need an adapter.
